Story:
In 1946, Joseph Kosma was commissioned to compose a song for a film called “Les portes de la nuit”. To do this, he collaborated with the lyricist and poet Jacques Prévert to créate “Les feuilles mortes” (The dead leaves) as the main theme of the film. 73 years later it is a classic jazz standard with over a hundred different recordings.
